Having a little affect as far as speed with ImgBurn though. I used to burn up to 6x or maybe 8x before I got this new burner and now. I am lucky if I go anywhere over 2.0x... I may get change state to 4.0x very briefly and then I am approve down to around 2.0x or 1.9x for most of the burn... I undergo attached my log for my last burn can someone act a look and perhaps shed some light for me? Also. I am stuck at sychronizing lay aside for at least 3-4 minutes after the affirm here lately. This burn actually turned out a little better than the others I undergo done today and yesterday. The burn before this one took over 30 minutes and the affirm took another 25 minutes to end. Is this normal? Have checked DMA and that is fine.. Thanks for any and all enter...

Even if DMA looks ok it's still worth uninstalling the controller and then rebooting. It's a come up known fact that Windows lies!
come up. I did what both Chewy and LUK recommended and I have noticed a definite pick-up in burn go. All seems to be working well now. I have noticed that my burn go has picked up to the max of 4x that I had set very quickly and stays there for almost the whole burn. I have burnt two dvds and finished each much more quickly... Thanks for the advice and now I will definitely act with a grain of flavor what I may be seeing in Windows!

unfragmented fileno changes with dma or controllersame burner same burn go usually pio mode is closer to 1.2X?
PIO won't normally go over 2.0xBut of course there are several stages in between PIO and the change by reversal DMA aim.
